Suncore Industries was established in 2000 and have been a member of the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association (APRA) ever since. Our mission began with rebuilding air suspension components and moved quickly into offering better solutions with conventional suspension conversion kits to give our customers the longevity they can rely on.
The most common reason for an air strut failure is due to dry rotting of the air bag. This is something that happens over time, the air bag starts to deteriorate and causes leaks, when this happens the air bag can no longer hold air pressure. A leaking air bag can cause the strut it fits over to fail as well. The second factor of an air strut failure is the strut itself. The strut is pressurized with fluid, and if the strut begins to fail it will no longer have the same pressure to hold the vehicle. If this system begins to fail one visible sign will be that your vehicle will be lower than factory height. If Air Struts are not replaced on time, it will cause an Air Suspension Compressor Failure.

does this get rid of the service suspension system warnings in the dash?
Hello, This kit is not designed to eliminate the warning light for the full air system this kit will only bypass the active dampeners at each wheel if the suspension light is on due to any other components in the system this will not eliminate that light
The kit says it doesn't work with the escalade ext but it works with Chevy avalanche which is identical. The escalade and escalade esv are only differentiated by wheelbase length. Please clarify whether or not this system does or does not fit the 07 escalade ext. Thanks
Thank you for reaching out, we are glad to help. We do not have this kit listed as compatible due to the rear shocks. The weight of an EXT or ESV is too heavy for this shock absorber. We apologize for the inconvenience, we hope you have a good day. -Stephanie
How difficult is it to install the resisters
Hello, we are glad to help. The resistors are fairly easy to install. The dampening plug to your OE strut gets cut and you connect 1 wire to each side of the resistor. They do get hot to the touch so we recommend fastening them to metal. If you have further questions please let us know. -Stephanie
Will this conversion kit work on a 2015 suburban Ltz magnetic ride
Hello, we are happy to help. Unfortunately our parts are not compatible with a 2015 model, we only carry fitment up to 2014. The spring rate and ECU is different on a 2015. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Is this kit compatible with a 2007 gmc yukon xl denali?
Hi Chris, Yes! This kit is compatible with your vehicle! Please let us know if you have any further questions. -Stephanie
Are the bypass resistors needed for both the front and rear I have the Z55 suspension
Jason, we are glad to help! Yes, we include resistors for each corner of conversion. We also include thorough instructions in the box. Please let us know if you need anything else, we hope you have a good day. -Stephanie
I have a 2010 Avalanche LTZ 5.3L that i would like to convert the suspension system to passive. I do haul a 30 ft. travel trailer. Would your system work for my application?
Robert, This kit will work for your vehicle, however I do not recommend gas shocks for towing. Our parts are not designed for towing, so I cannot say it will keep your factory ride height. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. -Stephanie
do you sell the proper pieces to eliminate the light on in the dash
Hi Toby, unfortunately we do not sell resistors separately. This kit comes with the necessary resistors to alleviate the dash light for your shocks/struts. Please let us know if you need anything else!
It says its compatible with my 2015 cadillac but through these comments your saying it's not so is it or no ?
Jeremy, yes this kit is compatible with a 2015 Escalade. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Will this kit fit a 2003-2004 Cadillac Escalade
James, I would recommend the following conversion kit for your year model: https://suncoreindustries.com/product/18038/electronic-active-suspension-to-passive-gas-shock-absorbers-bundle-chevy-gmc-cadillac This is passive gas for front and rear suspension and includes bypass resistors. Let us know if you need further assistance! Have a good day. -Stephanie
Is this kit compatible with 2011 Yukon XL Denali?
Hi Jeremy, Yes this is compatible with your vehicle! Keep in mind these parts are non-electronic with a bypass. Let us know if you need anything else, have a good day!
Will this suspension replace a Z95 in a 2009 base Escalade?
Rex, Unfortunately our parts are not compatible with a Z95 sport suspension. It is a lower profile and our parts will raise the front of your vehicle about 1.5 inches with standard non-sport parts. Please let us know if you have further questions. -Stephanie
I’m wanting to lift my 2010 Avalanche LTZ but all the kit for autoride suspensions are expensive. Very expensive. Can I use this system to change my suspension so I can use a regular lift kit ?
Hi Steven, Our parts should be compatible with your lift kit. As long as the top mounts on your spacers are not modified, then this will work. If you are having any issues please let us know. -Stephanie
Is this compatible with 05 Escalade Esv ? Info provided is confusing.
Christopher, This kit is not compatible, however part # 150G-12-4 would be what you are looking for. Please let us know if you need anything else. -Stephanie
Would these shocks work on an 07 Escalade base model. I pull a 21' boat with it and would like to convert over to these, if possible?
Hi Steve, These parts are compatible! Because these parts are air suspension you can still tow and stay at factory ride height. Please let us know if you have further questions about this kit. Keep in mind they are conversion so these shocks can be filled with a compressor or manually at the gas station. We hope these parts do exactly what you need! Have a good day! -Stephanie
This appears that it will work for my 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV, however, mine has the 22" wheel package and also the rear air leveling. Will this work with by passing the rear air leveling?
JJ, Yes this is a bypass for your electronic air suspension to get into a passive gas shock. Resistors are included so you will not get a dash light for your suspension. Please let us know if you have more questions regarding this!
I have a 2012 Chevy Suburban LTZ lifted 7" (inches) but I want to do more. (1) Will this kit allow me to bypass the factory air ride so tht I could use aftermarket a coil over suspension?
01/22/2019 GC, This kit will bypass the factory ride and get you into a passive system. It will be compatible as long as your lift uses spacers and there's no mod on the top mounts of your parts. If your top mounts have been altered our conversion will not be compatible. If you need anything else please let us know. -Stephanie Customer Service
2007 Chevy avalanche 1500. Need to convert away from the air ride suspension to a heavier duty spring suspension front and back. Any suggestions on kits that are good for moderate welding trailer towing (single axle mig/Tig/compressor welding under 1/2 ton trailer.)
Alex, This kit will be a conversion for your vehicle however I wouldn't recommend it for towing. Our gas shocks are not designed to hold the weight of the vehicle to tow. I recommend 151G-14-4-ASSY, this kit has a passive air shock that can be manually filled at a gas station. Air shocks will always be your best bet for towing. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
I would like to check the compatibility for a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali XL 4x4
Jeff, This is compatible with your model, you are safe to purchase! -Stephanie
I have a 2010 4x4 Tahoe with leveling kit....is it compatible ? Looking for a smoother ride
Miguel, This kit is compatible, if you are experiencing issues with your suspension now then this will definitely be a smoother ride. These are a conversion so you are getting out of electronics and into a passive system, resistors are included. If you have additional questions we are glad to help. -Stephanie
I have a 2007 suburban ltz that is level and has the autoride system, will this lift it more?
Hi Chase, The conversion kit will not lift it more, it's going to keep your vehicle at factory height. Our parts are designed to OE specs and will bolt, fit, and maintain factory height. Let us know if you have further questions, we are happy to help. -Stephanie
hi I have a 2007 Chevy Suburban I was wondering if these shocks and struts would fit my truck it's not electric suspension it's regular
Mendy, Yes these shocks are compatible! They are a conversion so it will get you out of electronic suspension. Resistors are included in the box as well. Please let us know if you need anything else. -Stephanie
I purchased this 151G-30-4-ASSY conversion kit and I am seeing on some of the reviews that this kit does not fit a flex fuel vehicle, if so what would be the process to return the kit.
Byron, This is compatible with a flex fuel. We will be sure to cypher through our old review and correct this! The only exclusion is a Z95 sports package. Please let us know if you need further assistance. Have a great weekend. -Stephanie
I have. 08 suburban Ltz flex fuel rwd I’m trying to get s conversion kit for both front and rear? Which is best?
Hi Jay, The kit you are viewing will be the best option if you are looking to get out of both electronics and air suspension. Its a passive conventional system with complete struts for the front and gas shocks with helper springs for the rear. If you need further help with this, please let us know. -Stephanie
I have a 2010 LTZ 4X4 Tahoe, have the suspension service advisor on. Air ride not kicking on anymore. So want to convert. I tow a boat with these rear shocks work?? If not do you have a kit with a upgraded RearShocks or can we buy separately?
I would like to lower my 2015 Tahoe with auto ride in the rear you have anything available to lower 4 inches
Unfortunately, all our parts are built to the OEM Specs, to keep the vehicles at its original height, we do not carry any lowering kits at this time. Regards, Marcelo
Will this work on a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ that has the Z55 air ride suspension in the rear and electric struts in the front? Will the resistors remove the "Service Suspension System" dashboard warning light if the compressor is bad?
The resistors are meant to bypass any errors regarding the conversion, but id a defective component (like the Air Compressor or a height level sensor) is triggering the error light these will not clear that for you. Regards, Marcelo
