Suncore Industries was established in 2000 and have been a member of the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association (APRA) ever since. Our mission began with rebuilding air suspension components and moved quickly into offering better solutions with conventional suspension conversion kits to give our customers the longevity they can rely on.
The most common reason for an air strut failure is due to dry rotting of the air bag. This is something that happens over time, the air bag starts to deteriorate and causes leaks, when this happens the air bag can no longer hold air pressure. A leaking air bag can cause the strut it fits over to fail as well. The second factor of an air strut failure is the strut itself. The strut is pressurized with fluid, and if the strut begins to fail it will no longer have the same pressure to hold the vehicle. If this system begins to fail one visible sign will be that your vehicle will be lower than factory height. If Air Struts are not replaced on time, it will cause an Air Suspension Compressor Failure.

04 rx330 awd. do the sensors and computer need to be working on this car
Hello, Yes in order to convert the vehicle to a passive coil strut setup you will have to have all other electronic components in the system functional in order to do the conversion with no warning lights Thank you
Dear Sir/Ms: What is involved with the actual replacement of the 4 air suspension struts and replacing with your conversion system? I have 2007 Lexus RX350 with 160,000 miles. Air system was repaired by dealer last year and now air suspension is stuck in high position. Want to keep vehicle, but can't keep paying a fortune to fix air system. Can someone do the conversion themselves or is a mechanic recommended. If so do you offer a list of recommended installers in New Jersey? How would you deactivate the existing air system/electronics. Thank you! Leonard
Hello, Leonard For this conversion it is not really hard to do the kit will come with a complete set of install instructions that will explain the whole conversion process we always suggest you have these kits installed by a certified tech as it insures everything was done proper and if there is any issues they will have the proper equipment to diagnose any issues. We do not have a list of techs for your area but we can try and locate an ASE certified shop in your area code if you'd like. as for deactivating the system for this kit you will simply be fooling the computer but all electronic components will have to still be plugged in and functional for the conversion to work proper with no warning lights Thank you
Is the height of these new shocks different from the original AIR Suspension? And are there any other changes that should be made?
Hello, The size of the conversion struts will arrive fully extended and may appear to be longer than the OE air struts but are in-fact correct as the air struts coming off will be fully deflated and have no tension to extend them fully. As for the conversion you should not need anything else or any need to change any settings the kit will come with a full set of install instructions in case you run into any issues Thank you
